The Role

We are looking for a Strategic eCommerce Designer to own the Vacier digital experience. This is not a role for a generalist UX designer who prioritizes wireframes over aesthetics. We need a visual heavyweight who understands that in high-end e-commerce, form is function.

You will be the guardian of our digital flagship. Your goal is to ensure that the precision, weight, and minimalism of our physical jewelry are perfectly translated into pixels. You will lead the design of our digital ecosystem, balancing world-class brand storytelling with a frictionless, high-converting commercial journey.

Strategic Responsibilities
  • Digital Brand Stewardship: Take the lead on evolving Vacier's visual language in the digital space. You aren't just following a brand book; you are writing the next chapters of how minimalism is expressed through layout, motion, and interaction.
  • Strategic Experience Design: Design end-to-end journeys that go beyond "standard e-commerce." You will design high-impact editorial moments, immersive product launches, and seasonal campaigns that elevate the brand's perceived value.
  • Visual Integrity & Audit: Proactively identify and eliminate "visual debt." You will audit the site constantly to ensure that typography, spacing, and image treatments remain uncompromisingly precise across all devices and regions.
  • Performance-Driven Iteration: Bridge the gap between "beautiful" and "effective." You will propose design hypotheses, test new treatments, and analyze how visual changes impact customer behavior—adjusting your strategy based on what moves the needle for the brand.
  • Technical Partnership: Work as a strategic peer to our developers. You understand the technical constraints of the web and design high-fidelity solutions that are both ambitious and buildable, ensuring the "live" site matches your design 1:1.
Experience & Background
  • Premium Portfolio: A body of work that demonstrates "high taste"—mastery of whitespace, sophisticated typography, and a "less but better" approach.
  • E-commerce Authority: Experience designing for premium or luxury D2C brands. You understand the psychology of the luxury consumer and how design decisions build trust and desire.
  • Holistic Design Thinking: You move fluidly between high-level brand concepting and the granular details of a checkout flow or a mobile navigation menu.
  • Tooling: Mastery of Figma. You build scalable design systems, not just static screens.
How You Work
  • Opinionated Design: You lead with a point of view. You don't wait for a brief to tell you when the kerning is off or a layout feels "cheap"—you see it, fix it, and explain why it matters for the brand.
  • Strategic Ownership: You take responsibility for the "Digital Product" as a whole. You think about how a landing page design affects the brand's global reputation and its bottom line.
  • Radical Precision: You believe that a 1px misalignment is a brand failure. You bring a jeweler's eye to the screen.
