Senior Retoucher / Color Lead

About Us

Vacier is a design-driven jewelry brand built on minimalism, material integrity, and precision. We sell our products worldwide, shipping from logistics partners across Europe, the USA, and Australia. Our visual identity is not a detail—it is part of the product itself. Every image, frame, color, and movement contributes to how the brand is perceived, and we hold it to the highest standard.

We believe consistency creates recognition. The details people cannot always identify are often the details they remember.

Your Role

We're looking for someone with a highly developed eye for color, composition, light, and visual consistency.

You understand premium aesthetics and have the taste to know when something feels refined and when it doesn't. You care about the subtle details that most people overlook: the warmth of a shadow, the way metal reflects light, the balance between contrast and texture, and the consistency of a visual system over time.

This role combines hands-on editing and grading with ownership of Vacier's visual standards. You will work closely with our Creative Director and creative team to ensure every visual output feels intentional, cohesive, and unmistakably Vacier.

More than technical ability, we're looking for someone who is naturally curious about how visuals live across every touchpoint—from Instagram and paid campaigns to product pages and brand films.

Key responsibilities:
Color & Visual Direction
  • Define, refine, and maintain Vacier's visual language across photography and video.
  • Establish grading standards for tone, contrast, warmth, texture, grain, and atmosphere.
  • Create systems and workflows that ensure long-term consistency across all content.
  • Continuously evolve visual standards while protecting brand recognition.
Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit and assemble visual content across campaigns, social media, website, and brand initiatives.
  • Perform color grading, retouching, and final image refinement.
  • Ensure consistency across movement, pacing, composition, and visual flow.
  • Optimize content for different platforms while maintaining a unified brand appearance.
Art Direction & Creative Collaboration
  • Work closely with photographers, videographers, retouchers, designers, and 3D artists.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback on composition, lighting, mood, styling, and storytelling.
  • Contribute to creative discussions and support the development of future campaigns and visual systems.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to strengthen and evolve the Vacier aesthetic.
Quality Control
  • Review and approve final assets before publication.
  • Identify and eliminate inconsistencies across all visual outputs.
  • Prevent visual drift across creators, productions, and time periods.
  • Serve as a final quality gatekeeper for the brand's visual identity.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in visual editing, color grading, photography, post-production, or a related creative field.
  • Strong understanding of premium, fashion, luxury, jewelry, or product-focused visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent eye for color, composition, light, texture, and detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve (or equivalent tools).
  • Ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide creative feedback.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working with fashion, luxury, jewelry, or design-led brands.
  • Motion graphics, animation, or subtle visual effects experience.
  • Understanding of sound design and its role in visual storytelling.
  • Experience working with commercial productions, cinematic content, or short-form storytelling.
  • Familiarity with 3D rendering workflows and product visualization.
What We Offer
  • Flexible working environment.
  • Real creative ownership and influence over how the brand is seen globally.
  • Opportunity to shape and evolve the visual identity of a growing international brand.
  • A direct partnership with the Creative Director and broader creative team.
  • Clear growth path into a senior creative leadership role.
  • A small, ambitious, design-driven team that values quality over volume.
Why should you apply?

If you're at a point in your career where you want to stop contributing to someone else's standard and start helping define one, this is that opportunity.

We are not looking for someone to simply edit content.

We are looking for someone who understands that consistency creates recognition, that details shape perception, and that great brands are built through disciplined creative decisions made over time.

This role is about building a visual system, not completing isolated tasks.

The work you do will influence how Vacier is seen and experienced.
