Production Assistant – Barcelona Internship

About Us

At Vacier, we design minimalist and timeless jewelry crafted for everyday wear. As a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, we ship globally through partners in Europe, the USA, and Australia. While our focus has historically been on men’s jewelry, in 2024 we launched our first women’s collection, and in 2025, we’re exploring fresh opportunities for growth, collaborations, and innovation.

Your Role

As a Production Assistant (Intern), you will play an essential role in supporting Vacier’s Creative Director across pre-production, on-set execution, and post-production for brand campaigns—typically 1+ shoot per month.

You’ll help ensure every production runs smoothly, contributing to the creation of high-quality visual content that reflects the minimalist essence of our brand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about hands-on creative work, production logistics, and bringing visual concepts to life.

You’ll collaborate closely with our design and creative teams to help shape how Vacier’s stories are captured and delivered.

This is an on-site role based in Barcelona, Spain, requiring regular in-person work, possible driving, and hands-on assistance during production days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-production (primary focus): scout locations, gather references, contact venues, handle city permits, request/compare quotes, lock budgets, build call sheets & shot lists, book crew/talent, and keep timelines on track.
  • On set: time the day against the call sheet, track shot progress, manage releases, keep product/wardrobe organized, coordinate with camera & styling.
  • Post-production: support edit workflows with the design team (2 video editors, photographer, graphic designer + freelancers), collect selects, organize assets, and track notes/versions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and visual trends to continuously elevate Vacier’s brand.
What We’re Looking For
  • Calm, organized, proactive, and detail-obsessed.
  • Comfortable emailing/calling institutions for permits and negotiating with vendors.
  • A clear communicator in English (Spanish and/or Catalan are a strong plus).
  • Proficient with basic production tools: Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Drive), spreadsheets; bonus points for Frame.io, Figma, Adobe Premiere.
  • Aesthetically aligned with minimal, cinematic visuals.
  • Nice to have: Prior production/PA experience, driver’s license, knowledge of Barcelona locations, basic budgeting.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback from both creative teams.
What We Offer
  • Flexible schedule to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • A competitive salary with performance-based increases.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
  • A creative, collaborative work environment that values innovation and craftsmanship.
  • A chance to work both remotely and in different production locations.
Timing
  • Join in December so the role is fully up and running for early 2026.
