Color & Image and Brand Director
About Us
Vacier is a design-driven jewelry brand built on minimalism, material integrity, and precision. We sell our products worldwide, shipping from logistics partners across Europe, the USA, and Australia. Our visual identity is not a detail - it is the product. Every piece of content we publish is a direct expression of the brand, and we hold it to the highest standard.
Your Role
We are looking for a Color & Image Director to own and define how Vacier looks across every platform. This is a senior creative position for someone who understands color, light, and material perception at a deep level, and who can build a visual system that holds.
You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece of content Vacier publishes reflects a consistent, premium, and intentional identity. You will work closely with our Creative Director and collaborate across teams to establish and maintain a unified visual standard.
This role follows a hybrid working model with flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. Our offices are located in Barcelona and Sarajevo, and you’ll be expected to work on-site 2–3 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
Color & Grading Direction- Define and continuously evolve Vacier's color language, including tones, contrast, warmth, shadow, and grain, working closely with our Creative Director.
- Direct and refine grading workflows across Lightroom, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Oversee and align all visual outputs across channels and prevent visual drift across shoots, creators, and time periods.
- Serve as the final quality gatekeeper before any image goes live.
- Work closely with photographers, retouchers, and 3D artists.
- Provide clear directional feedback on lighting, composition, mood, and material realism.
- Review and approve final imagery before publishing.
- Maintain consistent look across all outputs.
- Build and maintain visual guidelines, reference boards, and grading standards.
- Create systems that allow collaborators to produce work aligned with Vacier’s visual identity.
- Document and continuously refine standards as the brand evolves.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in high-end photography, post-production, color grading, or a closely related field.
- Proven background in fashion, luxury, jewelry, or product-focused brands with a strong understanding of premium visual standards.
- Deep understanding of light behavior on metal surfaces and how to render it with precision and control.
- Mastery of Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve (or equivalent tools).
- Strong understanding of color correction, grading, and advanced image processing techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an uncompromising standard for visual quality.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English language.
What We Offer
- Remote work flexibility with a hybrid option.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- Performance-based salary growth.
- A collaborative, design-led environment.
- Opportunity to define and shape the visual identity of a growing international brand.
Why should you apply?
Our core team consists of around 28 people who care deeply about what they build and how it looks. We are not looking for someone to simply execute tasks, but for someone who understands what we are building and wants to play a key role in defining how it is seen.
This role is about building a system, not completing a project. You will have the space to lead, define, and grow within a small, focused, design-driven team that values precision, clarity, and creative ownership. If you are someone who takes full ownership and drives visual excellence from concept to final output, this is the right environment for you.
